Why Thames Hospice?

Thames Hospice gives local families a ‘home from home’ when facing a life-limiting illness. We are one of the busiest independent hospices in the UK and offer expert care, free of charge whether it is at home, on our inpatient unit or at our day therapy service. The need for end-of-life and palliative care in our community is growing and we are committed to delivering care that is agile and responsive so that we can give patients and their families choices about the care they receive.

Our lottery is a win win! A ticket is just £1 a week and you get the chance to win £1,000 each week and a rollover that can get up to £10,000. You will also be supporting hospice care, helping ensure our expert team are there to support families through life-limiting illness and bereavement. Our draw is every Friday, but you have to be in it to win it!

How it works:

It costs just £1 per entry, per week.

The easiest way to play is by setting up a recurring Direct Debit, from £4.34 per month.

After you join, you will be given a random 6-digit number which is yours for as long as you play.

Your 6-digit number will be entered into the draw every Friday (As long as you have enough credit).

Every week there are 6 guaranteed cash prize winners, including a £1,000 jackpot winner!

If not won, our rollover prize increases by £200. If it reaches £10,000, it becomes a guaranteed prize!

In the financial year 2023/24, 7% went on prizes, 12% went on administration, 32% was reinvested into growing our lottery programme to raise even more money and 49% went directly to the Hospice to fund care and services to patients and families.
Our prizes are awarded by random number generator, 8 prizes are won every week, including our £1,000 jackpot. The chances of winning depend on the number in the draw. In April 2024 there was around a 1 in 1,517 chance of winning a prize each week.
