Why Thames Hospice?

Thames Hospice gives local families a ‘home from home’ when facing a life-limiting illness. We are one of the busiest independent hospices in the UK and offer expert care, free of charge whether it is at home, on our inpatient unit or at our day therapy service. The need for end-of-life and palliative care in our community is growing which is why we are building a new Hospice to better serve the local area.

Why join our lottery?

Our lottery is a win win! A ticket is just £1 a week and you get the chance to win £1,000 each week and a rollover that can get up to £10,000. You will also be supporting hospice care, helping ensure our expert team are there to support families through life-limiting illness and bereavement. Our draw is every Wednesday, but you have to be in it to win it!

How it works:

  • Entries are £1 each week
  • The easiest way to play is by direct debit, from £4.34 a month
  • You will be allocated a number or numbers which we will enter in to the draw each week
  • The draw takes place every Wednesday
  • Each week there will be at least 6 winners with one lucky winner getting a guaranteed cash jackpot of £1,000
  • Our 2nd Prize is a rollover, £200 will be added each week until we have a winner – it can get up to £10,000 then it has to be won!
  • You could be a winner like Seniz who won £6,400 on the rollover, here’s her story: Seniz's Story

Our rollover winner Ray won £1,400 in our lottery. His wife Karen was cared for by Thames Hospice in 2012.

Ray said: I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you for your call informing me of my win in the weekly lottery. I have supported the lottery for a number of years and will be forever grateful for all the help and support given by all the staff during the difficult times encountered with caring for Karen during her illness and with the counselling help after she passed away. I have enclosed a photograph of myself with Karen as this was the last time we went out together while she was still able to do so.
